CELPIP Exam Dates, Times Fees, Cancellations and Appeals (Gloucester, Vanier, Cumberland and Rockcliffe)

I have posted the following dates and times until August from the official website because it is specific to Ottawa only, while the Official CELPIP registration site lists all the Ontario centers together. Do check the official website to tell you whether the test is full or not. The 3 centers in Ottawa that offer the CELPIP test are:  Algonquin College, Ottawa University and the English Testing Center (ETC) on 150 Isabella Street.

If you are in travelling to Montreal or Toronto anyways, you might want to  check the official website which shows the whole of BC

You can see that the test is on Saturdays and the times are either 10.00 am or 12:30 am.

How Much is CELPIP?

CELPIP General Test = $280 (plus tax)

CELPIP LS (Listening and Speaking)  = $195 (plus tax)

Compared to IELTS, CELPIP is cheaper, particularly if you take the CELPIP LS for immigration. 

Cancellations and Appeals

To cancel, apply no less than 9 days before your test just to get 50% of your fee back . If you notify them more than 9 days before your test, you can transfer it to another date but will lose $50. You will need documents such as a doctor's note or bereavement proof. You can download the cancellation form on the official website.
 
If you feel your CELPIP test has been assessed incorrectly, you can request a re-evaluation. You can choose which of the 4 sub-skills (ie reading listening writing or speaking) you want reevaluated and avoid paying for the whole test. Of course, if the test score is altered, your full money will be refunded.
