Free CELPIP Reading Tests

The free resources on the official CELPIP site provide free reading practice . There are two sites that give free practice in the reading section. The first is also a Paragon Testing called Secure Paragon Testing . It is the best but it is only a sample so the other option which gives more tests but of obviously worse quality is from Study 100.com, a Chinese site under Yingyu Xuexi 100 which provides tests in CELPIP reading.   Just make sure you translate the page.

Youtube gives a number of reading practice opportunities. Paragon Testing puts out a youtube video on general reading tips and anther on reading in context. The CheckMark learning Institute has a youtube presentation for reading

Free Writing Essay

The best source of essay practice comes from the official source but there are a number of good ones beyond this. Many of my students like Yingyu 100Xuexi.com site. It is in Chinese but if Chinese is not your mother tongue, just get it translated  by Google (the icon is on the top right of the address bar). Another one you can try is Overseas Student, another Chinese website with CELPIP topics.

There are many sites on youtube that feture the writing section.The Official CELPIP site offers one on writing on youtube.  CELPIP/IELTS site offers a task 1 videos that is reasonable. Test Expert has produced two videos in task 1 and task 2. Finally, ESL Red Deer has an essay sample you might want to try.
