In my opinion, a good husband or wife needs two main characteristics: trust and good communication.
First, trust makes both people feel more comfortable. For example, if you can share your fears or mistakes without being judged, the relationship feels safe. That comfort helps love grow.
Second, good communication helps couples solve difficult situations. For instance, when my parents disagree about money, they sit down and talk calmly instead of shouting. Because of that, they always find a solution.
So, without trust and communication, even small problems can become big ones. That’s why I believe these two characteristics are the most important.
