CAEL Exam Locations in Ottawa
CAEL Test Locations
CAEL has two authorized centers in Ottawa for the computer test. Check the official site to see if this has changed as I have a feeling that soon the computer based test will be offered in Ottawa as well. For times at these centers please go to our dates times and fees page
1. English Testing Center (ETC) Ottawa (CAEL CE)
This is the closest to the central location of Ottawa and in the downtown area at 150 Isabella St. Unit 155 Ottawa just off the 417 highway
2 Algonquin College
The other test center is more towards the west at Algonquin College at 1385 Woodroffe Avenue
If none of these times work for you, you can see about taking a bus or drive up to Montreal (the closest location from Ottawa). There are a few more open times there:

There is also one center in Montreal at Herzing College 1616 Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest that offers the computer test. This place is not that far from Concorida University.
DO NOT contact any of these centers either by email or phone as it will just waste about 5 minutes of your life's precious time. I only post the address to show you where you will take the test but remember the venue and the testing center are often different with standardized tests and CAEL is no exception

Registering for CAEL
The official page for locations, dates and times is the CAEL site and this is the only way you can register. DO NOT call Carelton University individually as it will be a waste of time since everything is handled through the CAEL.
