Times and Dates of Tutor Classes

TPS is now accepting IELTS, TOEFL, CAEL,  IB, ACT, SAT, SSAT, CELPIP, Duolingo, and Pearson (PTE) students. There is no fixed time duration for such courses. They are arranged according to your schedule. However, you should allow yourself at least 2 months before the test date. 

Once you commit to a date, we view this commitment as a contract. We honor it and expect you to do so as well. Avoid dates that you know could be a problem. Do not view our tutorial service as a place for easy cancellations. We do not accept cancellations without a very good reason.

Please phone early in advance, as these are popular courses in the Ottawa Gatineau area.

Because High School and College test courses tend to be from 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm,  you need to book early with us.

With SSAT and IB prep classes, we may need consultations with parents before any classes can begin.

Online classes are more flexible. You can have shorter sessions but treat the time you book as sacred as it is time that a tutor could spend elsewhere.

You may take a class once a week but if time is short, we advise you to take 2-3 classes per week. If you are registered for an examination within a month, you may need more classes. 

Generally, home tutoring classes run for a minimum of 2 hours. Some exceptions are possible but generally, longer or shorter classes are extremely difficult to schedule. Fill in an inquiry to find out if your preferred time duration is possible. 

We generally arrange classes by the following schedule:

9:00 - 11:00 am or 9:30 - 11:30 am;  12:00 - 2:00 pm, 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 4:00 - 6:00 pm; 7:00 - 9:00 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Tuesday
9:00 - 11:00 am or 9:30 - 11:30 am; 12:00 - 2:00 pm, 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 4:00 - 6:00 pm; 7:00 - 9:00 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Wednesday
9:00 - 11:00 am or 9:30 - 11:30 am;  12:00 - 2:00 pm, 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 4:00 - 6:00 pm; 7:00 - 9:00 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Thursday
9:00 - 11:00 am or 9:30 - 11:30 am;  12:00 - 2:00 pm, 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 4:00 - 6:00 pm; 7:00 - 9:00 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Friday                      
9:00 - 11:00 am or 9:30 - 11:30 am;  12:00 - 2:00 pm, 3:00 - 5:00 pm or 4:00 - 6:00 pm; 7:00 - 9:00 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Saturday
