TPS - Finding a TOEIC Tutor in Ottawa
The obviously most comfortable and time efficient manner of studying TOEIC is in your home, with a customized program. There is enrollment for home tutoring or outside classes from February 1st, 2018.
Please see the programs page for online tutoring and the rates. Online tutoring is flexible for times and can be placed virtually anytime from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm ET.
Every class is a minimum of 2 hours at $60/hr or $120/lesson ($15/hr for each extra student) and involves a free consultation at the start to find out needs and level. It is $15/hr for each extra student. After the first lesson, the next four lessons must be paid in advance.
Some students may wish to do a full TOEIC English test right at the beginning in order to establish a benchmark. This can be arranged but the test does take an entire 2 hour session and will be billed as a regular lesson.

Requirements Before Taking a Course
TOEIC is a difficult test for many as the proficiancy demands are quite high. This means that any student must
- ...do a big share of his or her work by self-study. Students need to target about 500-1000 new words.
- ...be motivated. Sometimes TOEIC seem a good idea until the demands of starting a career take over
- ...have time to commit.
