There are a number of sites that will give a list of questions that you can do and practice with. You can go through the list of speaking tests posted on IELTS blog as well as some posted on IELTS Essentials (IDP site), which gives a prompt, recording and transcript. The Official IELTS site also gives the prompt, recording and transcript as well.
The problem is that none of these can get you to actually practice the test by audio prompt and submit answers to be analysed free. This has made the self-study of speaking very difficult and so below I have tried to rectify this problem with an interactive speaking site.
YouTube has a number of mock interviews on it and what you can do is mute your audio button after the question is asked and try to answer it yourself. Here are a number of the better quality ones because so much of the ones on YouTube are so bad it defies even an explanation. the best ones are these:

Save the answers you give and send the audio file to me at [email protected] If you are from the Ottawa or Gatineau areas, you can submit a recording and have it scored for no charge. Fill out the form. You MUST put your telephone number with the Ottawa area code for us to confirm your residence and you will be called to verify.
