TPS - Finding TOEFL Tutors in West Carleton
Currently there are open times in the West Ottawa area for home tutoring or outside classes from February 1st, 2018.
Please see the programs page for online tutoring and the rates. Online tutoring is flexible for times and can be placed virtually anytime from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm ET. If you are from Vancouver remember you are 3 hours behind.
Every class is a minimum of 2-hours at $60/hr or $120/lesson (each additional student is $15/hr) and involves a free consulting at the start to find out needs and level. After the first class, 4 subsequent classes must be paid in advance.

What To Discuss With Your Tutor
There are a few things to bring up with your tutor before scheduling classes.
1. Your willingnesss to do self-study. If you are too busy make sure the tutor knows this
2. Your knowledge of your reading, writing, listening and speaking either from previous tests or by doing some practice tests online. TPS has a few if you need some.
3. Your goals and timeline before the exam. Your tutor will ask you but it is helpful to look at when you wish to register for the exam.
