The IDP has set up an online system to take the test. This will make it more convenient for your particular time. You may find it less stressful to do it in the comfort of your home but many students tell me that it is actually more stressful because of the strict rules about not looking away from the screen. Also, it is no cheaper at $345

Testing Centers

There are 4 organizations in the Winnipeg area that administer the IELTS test (British Council, Conestoga, Hearltland Intl English School & Robertson College and in about 7-9 locations, which gives you some choice. If you are in Manitoba, there are testing centers in Neepwa and in Steinbach.
