TPS - Finding an IELTS Tutor in Winnipeg

TPS welcomes enrolment for IELTS classes. The tutor is guaranteed to be an expert on IELTS and a specialist in test preparation, not just an ESL teacher.

Please see the programs page for online tutoring and the rates. Online tutoring is flexible for times and can be placed virtually anytime from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm ET. Also, it is helpful to see our site on expectations of tutors and obligations to students.

Home tutoring lessons are 2 hours (minimum) at $60/hr or $120/lesson. After the first class, 4 subsequent classes must be paid in advance.

During the first meeting, the tutor conducts a free consultation and schedule and program are set up based on the needs of the student. Before meeting with a tutor, please determine why you are taking the test and your goals. Remember that the general module is for immigration and an academic module for university entrance. Students can choose to have an IELTS English test right at the beginning in order to establish a benchmark. The test does take an entire 2-hour session, and we bill it as a regular lesson.
