No matter how far you are, a tutor can provide quality lessons in your home or outside of it if you wish.
Please see the programs page for online tutoring rates. Online tutoring is flexible for times, and you can schedule it virtually anytime from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm ET.
Home tutoring classes are a minimum of 2 hours at $60/hr or $120/lesson. After the first class, the student pays the subsequent 4 classes in advance.
Before meeting with a tutor, please determine why you are taking the test and your goals. There are a free assessment and schedule arrangement between the tutor and the student before the program begins to determine needs and level.

Features of IELTS Tutoring You Should Know Before Registering:
1. Most scores fall within 5 - 7 within the most common score a 6 Moving up this range of band scores does take time and effort.
2. The speaking part is face-to-face. For some, this is an advantage, but since the invigilator (interviewer) is also the assessor, there is arguably more subjectivity in the marking.
3. It is the most expensive of the standardized tests. For example in Edmonton, to take the General Module academic module, you pay $320 compared to the General L&S CELPIP test at $195.00.
4. Self-study is a big component of your success in IELTS. For example, in the writing test, as a rule of thumb, a student needs to produce about 10 Task 2s and about 5 task 1s to move up a half a band level.
