TOEFL Speaking Exam
The speaking test must be done on computer for a variety of reasons.
1. You need the time discipline
2. There are integrated sections that need to flash in and out of your view
You can find speaking exams on the ETS site and there are audios to accompany the pdf tasks. It is highly advisable that you work from the pdf on screen rather than print it out since that is how you will do it in the real exam. English Club give not only the task and recording but also give sample responses. The Academic Success site gives demo speaking tests that are done in stages like the real test but unfortunately it is unable to set it according to the timing of the actual test.
The best speaking exam besides the ETS ones are probably those posted by Nebraska Jones (Aka Prof Jones). They are timed and follow the ones offered by textbooks. There are 9 of them in total. There is a full TOEFL test on TST
I will be soon posting my own YouTube exams but for now try those I have mentioned above.
It may be best to combine these with those on CD ROMs or sites in reputable textbooks. For a good list of textbooks go to my TOEFL Tips page.

IELTS Writing Exams
There are 2 parts to the iBT TOEFL writing exam. While Part 2 is more important mark-wise, mark, Part 1 is the hardest to find good examples. Part 2 topic prompts found all over, while part 2 involves an integrated reading essay and listening lecture a long with the task instruction.
You can find both good Part 1 tests on English Club where they provide the reading and listening parts of part 1 integrated writing. Access Success have a writing test. Magoosh offers some good Part 2 topics but does not have anything for Part 1.
Again, the best option is probably the TOEFL writing tests offered by Nebraska Jones of Prof Jones

How to Take the Test and Have it Marked & Analysed
Follow this process:
- Put Part 1 & 2 onto a page or have them easily accessible on the computer. You can do the ones I have listed above or you can do the ones in textbooks
- Type your part 1 & 2 essays. Give yourself 50 minutes for the two tasks, 20 for Part 1 and 30 minutes for Part 2
- Fill out the form and press submit it. Then, immediately after send by email + attachment of your work. Do not edit your work before sending it in past the 1 hour time limit. I do require a little greeting and request in the below form.
- When you receive your score and analysis, take the advice in terms of what your strengths and weaknesses are.
How it is Scored
The Two tasks are scored from 0 to 5, which is then converted to a scaled score of 0 to 30.
