There are 2 tasks in the IELTS writing exam - Task 1 & Task 2. While undoubtedly Task 2 is far more important for your overall mark, Task 2 is the one you need to be on the hardest hunt for. There are endless ways to obtain Task 2 since they are prompted by a topic/task instruction only, while task 2 involves a visual, be it a graph, diagram, map etc...).
Make sure you get writing tests that fit the writing test you are taking (i.e. is it the General or Academic test?)
Start with the tests on the official IELTS site that give samples of the Academic writing test as well as the General writing test. There are not many but it does give you a good introduction to the test.
You can find both a lot more good Task 1 and Task 2 tests on the IDP site IELTS Essentials which give both Academic Writing and General Writing. On the site are also some downloadable writing answer sheets which are useful to use while practicing.
It is the Academic Task 1 that is usually the most difficult to find. DC IELTS offers quite a few Task 1 sample tests as well as some good tests and models for both the General and Academic Task 1 tests. It does also have, in DC's own words "a huge amount" of Task 2 essays
Although this site is getting rather commercial and gimmicky, the IELTS Blog still provides some useful samples of writing tests which have been largely derived from its huge database of previous tests and submissions by readers.
There are seemingly thousands of YouTube videos on writing probably because it is the easiest one to film. All of it is seemingly from IELTS centers who hope to promote their websites, products or lessons, which is fair enough, but much of it is pure garbage. Afew that are reasonable are the various videos by Liz IELTS who is a nonnative speaker who was successful at her IELTS exam and has seemingly devoted her life to helping other pass it and the very gentle and non-intimidating Emma in her "Learn English with Emma" videos
Hope this helps!
