Tip #1: Know the Quebec Provincial Exam Structure and Your Strengths & WeaknessesBefore your teacher gets going with the provincials know the structure and types of questions of the Quebec Provincial test. A good knowledge of the test before you begin will make it easier for you to work with a tutor and plan a course that targets your needs better. There are a number of questions you should be able to answer before approaching the test. Writing should interpret rather than summarize, use knowledge of literary terms and devices in the writing, be precise with references, use writing conventions and write clean accurate grammar structures and referenced well in the text 5. It plays an important role so do edit carefully 6. Make sure that general statements are supported with specificity and make sure it is an interpretative writing that doesn't just repeat what is obvious
